Our share-based programs utilize the many resources already present in the Pine River Valley to enhance the lives of people from Vallecito to Arboles, and all the communities in between.

Pine River Shares is a crossroads for sharing food, clothing, support, and skills. We have a cost-free clothing unit with items for all seasons. Our free Family Food Project can help supplement your pantry – or if you have extra, bring it in to share with other families. Perhaps you’re a new mom who feels isolated – become part of our Parent Connection program, and meet other parents in your area. Learn or teach a skill – anything from computers to belly dancing!

We have many opportunities for people with extra resources to lend a hand. If you’re planning your next garden, you can plant some veggies for our Family Food Project. You could join us in presenting our monthly Community Dinners–helping cook, decorate, or serve.

Maybe you live in one of the smallest towns in our area, like Allison or Tiffany. We want to expand our programs to cover the entire Pine River Valley — we just need people in outlying areas to step up and help us do that.

Whatever your interest may be, you can play a role in creating healthy, thriving communities in the Pine River Valley.
